The daily blog of October 14
It's darkness of 10:07PM(GMT+5:30)IST Kolkata, Generally I get the night time to write due to busy schedule , Today The weather was pleasant and sky was clear but it's night time feeling little cold.
Just remember one thing that,
People know me only as much as I have been shown to them which is not entirely true, let's start
As I am student of chemistry, today I decided to write few lines of my opinion about chemistry,
Chemistry is one of the interesting science of the world. But students in most of the developing countries prefer to learn chemistry. I refer to two cases at most: in the developing country there is mostly no laboratory accumulation, and there is no reference material and so on.
Chemistry is an incredibly fascinating field of study. Because it is so fundamental to our world, chemistry plays a part in everyone's lives and touches almost every aspect of our existence in some way or another. Chemistry is essential for meeting our basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, health, energy and clean air, water and soil. Chemical technologies enrich our quality of life in many ways by providing new solutions to problems in health, material and energy use. Thus, the study of chemistry is useful in preparing us for the real world.
Chemistry is often referred to as the central science because it ties together physics and mathematics, biology and medicine, and earth and environmental sciences. Knowing something about chemistry is worthwhile because it provides an excellent basis for understanding the physical universe in which we live. For better or worse, everything is chemical!
Chemistry is divided into three main branches let's discuss one by one
1) Organic chemistry:-
Organic chemistry plays an important role in our daily life as food, clothing, paper, ink, rubber, soap, perfume, medicines etc. are indispensable for our proper living. Organic compounds are important components of many products like paints, food, plastics, explosives, medicine, petrochemicals, pesticides etc.
Organic chemistry makes modern life very possible. Highly creative science finds ways to create and break chemical bonds to create increasingly complex materials. This field enables the pharmaceutical industry to produce drugs that help keep people alive. For example, organic chemistry has made the nucleic acids in the COVID-19 vaccines that millions of people around the world have received. Organic chemistry is also responsible for the herbicides and pesticides that allow farmers to produce enough food to feed a growing world population. It is on the basis of these achievements that the future of organic chemistry can be thought to be secure. But this security is at risk
2) Physical chemistry:-
In my opinion The Physical chemistry is a part of our daily life. The batteries which are used in our vehicles uses the principle of electrochemistry. The photosynthesis process of green plants is an example of physical chemistry applied by a biological system. Solar devices convert energy from sunlight into electrical energy.
Physical chemistry is specifically concerned with predicting how atoms will bond and then predicting the properties of the resulting compound. An important subfield of physical chemistry is quantum chemistry, which looks at the use of resulting compounds based on their formation.
In my opinion Not all three are interesting some are really boring and disturbing like inorganic chemistry
3) Inorganic chemistry:-
Almost everything in life can be explained, and what cannot be is the exception. Somewhat Like inorganic chemistry, in inorganic chemistry almost everything exception.
About the octet rule in detail
In the first octet rule, there should be only 8 electrons. But then how many electron compounds are being made? 4, 6, 8, 10…..
Inorganic chemistry can be really confusing and most of the time you have to cram the topic without understanding the logic.
Hey these people are not exceptions, they are chopping jokes by speaking. You are not an exception, an excuse is an excuse. Pure excuse…. No logic, here is exception, exception, exception. Abe was not so confused seeing the Inception as the exception did.
The oxidation state of even oxygen is not fixed. Why create a happy periodic family when your own elements are not your relatives? why?
The monologue about inorganic chemistry being all unexpected is concerning for anyone who has ever studied inorganic chemistry.
Now you have spoken about a thing as a trend, when you can predict something from it. Like Thugs of Hindostan, if anything is happening anytime anywhere, how would you call it a trend?
I believe the main challenge is to get the attention of the students. In world full of theories it seems that students are more interested in practical applications. As in almost everything, chemistry tries to bring up practical situations and then comment on the chemistry behind the phenomenon.
Although discussion may go on but let's end the today's topic.
